Of course, one of the most fun water-related devices is the slip and slide. Slip and slides bring the excitement of water recreation right to your backyard, giving both you and your kids an exciting activity that works to beat the heat. Coming in all different shapes and sizes, slip and slides are used by both young children and full grown adults. After all, there is no age limit on fun.
One of the joys of summer recreation is the slip and slide. It's a fun way to beat the heat, be silly, and generally have a great time with friends. Sure, you can buy one at the store, but it's simple and inexpensive to make one at home. The best place to build one is on a grassy hill, but you can also make one right on the beach! Next, anchor the sides of the sheeting every five feet using a hammer to nail in landscape anchor pins. Then, add some dish soap to the center of the slide and spray the whole thing down with a hose before taking a slide down!
